57 BPS students placed in the top 15

in the Medve Matek competitions

This year, BPS had great success in the Medve Matek competitions. From Koala to Great Bear, every age group was represented at some point in the country. This accounted for 10% of BPS students, a total of 87 children. Additionally, 9 of our teachers participated in the games.

Medve Matek, apart from being a math competition, gets children out of their desks and into the outdoors. Navigating from station to station on a map, teams had to solve increasingly difficult combinatorial tasks. Speed, the distance covered, and the number of mistakes made all counted.

This year, 40% of the participating students finished in the top 15 of the competitions they entered! Teams from JPP High School, BPS Breznó, BPS Budaörs, BPS Gödöllő, BPS Kassák, BPS P10, and BPS Római all achieved outstanding results.

The children felt they did well and were proud of themselves. We highly recommend Medve Matek to everyone!
