Illencz Orsolya

I'm Orsolya Illencz, teacher of chemistry and biology, mother, adventurous "one of many". I have been teaching for almost 20 years in a technical school in Budapest, and this year I am starting my 3rd year of teaching at BPS. I joined the Solymar team in September 2021. I consider my most important task to develop and make children love scientific thinking. In addition to experiential learning, I focus on the transfer of practical, hands-on, usable knowledge.
My motto for this school year is "1 experiment for every day!"
Life is an adventure, and crossing the Northwest Passage with a small sailboat and my family is a big part of mine.
I would like to do my best to prepare the children I teach so that they are not afraid of any challenge and can bravely embark on the great adventure of life and learning.

Nagy Sándor

I am Nagy Sándor. I have been teaching history since 1995, and for the past two years, I have also been teaching professional informatics. In addition, I have utilized my qualifications as a photographer and tour guide in various jobs. In my previous two schools, Pasaréti Gimnázium and SEK Budapest International School, I taught history from 5th grade to graduation in both Hungarian and English. I joined BPS in 2020.

Ferencsik Anna

I am Anna Ferencsik, a certified psychologist, counseling psychologist candidate, and a trainee family therapist. Additionally, I am an active athlete, enthusiastic hiker, classic crime fiction enthusiast, cat and animal lover, and a self-proclaimed kitchen fairy. After obtaining my diploma, I worked as a school psychologist, being responsible for two elementary schools in the 13th district. I spent three school years in these institutions, during which I participated in several further training sessions, such as Sulinyugi and Vadaskert Narrative Therapy training. I loved working with children, and group and class sessions were particularly close to my heart.

During this time, I also gained experience in child protection. I worked with children in a temporary home for families, and during my university years, I started volunteering at the Blue Line Child Crisis Foundation, where I eventually stayed for 5 years.

It has been almost a year since I left the public sector, and I found a position in a private practice in Budapest. Currently, within the framework of individual counseling, I mainly work with young adults and regularly conduct talent development training for upper-grade students. In all aspects of my work, I genuinely believe in the systemic approach, whether it's about family, school, or workplace systems.

Sándor Adrienn

Adrienn Sándor here, a mother and kindergarten teacher. I decided during my childhood that I wanted to work with children. I spent seven years working in a nursery. After the birth of my daughter, I felt the desire to continue working with children. I joined the BPS Solymár team in the spring of 2022. I support children with love, patience, attention, and care.

Szundy Anna

Szeretek játszani, tanulni és tanítani. Nagyon fontos az életemben a család, a természet, és hogy felelős Földlakó legyek. Iskolás éveimben legtöbbször nem élveztem a tanulást, nem találtam rá a nekem legjobb módszerre. Amióta tanítok, színesen, változatosan, sok oldalról megközelítve igyekszem ezt tenni, hogy a gyerekek megleljék a saját tanulási útjukat. Következetes vagyok és szeretem, ha vannak szabályok, mert ez ad keretet és biztonságot a nyugodt tanuláshoz és együttléthez. A kereteken belül lehet szárnyalni, segíteni egymást, tapasztalatokat gyűjteni, élményekkel gazdagodni. Természetesen, ha itt az ideje, akkor közösen tágítani a kereteket.

Fontosnak tartom, hogy az iskolában otthon érezzék magukat a tanulók, a tanárok és a szülők is. A célunk közös: a gyerekeknek olyan „kezdő csomagot” szeretnénk adni, amivel könnyen veszik majd az akadályokat a későbbiekben.

Kovács Ági

2015 elején egy maroknyi csapattal kezdtünk hozzá a Budapest School építéséhez. Pár hétig nem is tudtuk, milyen név lenne a találó.
Lelkesen és tele álmokkal vágtunk bele. A gyerekekkel való közös munkában a nehézségek eltörpültek a számos örömteli, szabad környezetben történő kaland és indirekt tanulás mellett.
Mentortanárként, modultartóként és csoportvezetőként tevékenykedtem sokáig, aztán a háttér csapatot (LAB) kezdtem el támogatni. A BPS felvételi rendszerének kiépítésén dolgoztam, majd annak működtetésén, fejlesztésén.


Hiszek abban, hogy a gyermekek csak úgy tudnak magas minőségű - bármilyen típusú - tanuláson keresztül menni, ha megalapozottak a részképességeik és a neurológiai rendszerük készen áll erre az összetett változásra, amit tanulásnak nevezünk. Munkamódszerem meghatározói: strukturáltság, értő figyelem, kreativitás, célállítás. Végzettségeim: óvodapedagógus, beszédfejlesztő tanár, tanulás terapeuta, babaúszás tréner, nemzetközi síoktató, meseterapeuta

I am Gábor Blanka, mother and kindergarten teacher. The latter is an entirely new role in my life but all the more interesting. Both as a mother and a kindergarten teacher, I strive to witness children’s development, growth, and happiness. My tools are the same for both roles: love, attention, planning, and sharing time. As a student, I learned tourism and later became a flight attendant. Then came family and motherhood. Now my family has expanded with lots of children. It is both a responsibility and a blessing that I can be a part of their lives too. We learn, sing, draw, and play with the children every day. Moreover, we also include parents, as kindergarten may only become a family with them involved. This is my path now, and I am trying to learn everything about it.

Hello everyone! My name is Kata Horvath and I teach hungarian and german.

Right after finishing my BsC I knew that I've made the right decision and wasn't going to give up on teaching for the years to come! I found pleasure in teaching and the momentum that propelled me forward as a newbie teacher still keeps me going to this very day! The first five years I was fortunate enough to teach young adults with behaviour that challenges. I've learnt a great deal from them. I firmly believe in acceptance and understanding and I believe that these two concepts are key to create, maintain and develop a community that finds its strength in mutuality, cooperation and motivation. I believe that learning is enjoyable and that learning only stops at the end of life.

For twelve years I've also learned music and learned that as long as you keep trying it will get better!...Plus, it's okay to not get it for the first time because there is always next time! :)

Fábián Anna Mária

My name is Anna Maria Fabian, I am a mother, mentor and a teacher. My goal is to create a stable, safe, happy and caring atmosphere, to help children become well-rounded, curious, happy and balanced adults. I aim to teach them to love and respect the world around them. I believe it is important to engage children in a creative and complex manner, taking into account their personal development. My positive relationship with colleagues was a great motivator from the first moment onwards. I’ve been a teacher for 23 years 12 of which I spent in alternative education. I graduated as a teacher in 1996 and in 2016 I’ve also done the primary school pedagogy course at Babes-Bolyai University of Psychology. Two years later I did a masters course in “alternative education and methodology in primary school” at the same university. It is important to me to stay up to date in my knowledge, I believe in life long learning.
